Dementia Wellington exists to ensure that people living with mate wareware dementia live their best possible lives. We ensure people living in the Wellington region affected with mate wareware dementia have access to consistent, high-quality evidence-based information, support, and care that meets their individual needs. Dementia Wellington is part of a national network collaborating to advance services and advocate for the provision of services to meet growing population needs.

Dementia Wellington is a Charitable Trust governed by a Board of Trustees. We are currently seeking new Trustees and welcome enquiries from people with governance experience or a strong interest in developing their governance capabilities. Trustees are volunteers with an interest in supporting the work of Dementia Wellington to deliver services to all impacted by mate wareware dementia in our communities.

We are looking to continue to build the diversity of our Trustees to reflect the communities we support and to broaden and strengthen our engagement and relationships including with Māori and Pacific Peoples.
