KADAP's mission is to support senior residents to live in their homes with safety and dignity. We provide a range of services and support for members utilizing our pool of volunteers by doing what others are unable to do – ‘we fill the gaps’. Research shows that people are happiest when supported to remain living at home in their own environment. KADAP volunteers can help members to achieve this for longer. We are looking for a cheerful, honest person with some basic handyman skills who is happy to do some basic tasks for our members. Tasks may be as simple as changing a lightbulb, or require a little more skill such as putting up a shelf or painting a windowsill. All volunteers require police vetting.
