Volunteer Opportunity at Porirua Multicultural Council: Join Us in Celebrating Diversity!

Are you passionate about fostering inclusivity and celebrating diversity within our community? The Porirua Multicultural Council invites enthusiastic individuals to join us as volunteers in our mission to promote understanding and harmony among people of all backgrounds, especially of migrant and former refugee backgrounds.

We have some exciting initiatives coming up such as a weekly "korero and kawhe" club for women of migrant and former refugee backgrounds, and a driver license training programme requiring volunteer driver instructors.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in organising multicultural events and activities for our community hub
• Support newcomers in integrating into the community
• Contribute ideas for promoting cultural awareness and acceptance
• Help with administrative tasks as needed
