Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Do you have a wealth of career knowledge or life experience that you are eager to share? If so, we want you to join our team of Volunteer Mentors for our Career Navigator Programme.

The Graeme Dingle Foundation is a leading youth development community group, committed to inspiring young people to overcome challenges and pursue their dreams. Our Career Navigator Community Programme helps young people in the community explore career paths, build skills, and connect with industry professionals.

As a Volunteer Mentor, you will guide and inspire young people, helping them navigate their career journeys. You will work one-on-one or in small groups to:

  • Share your career insights and experiences.
  • Provide guidance on career planning and skill development.
  • Help students set and achieve goals.
  • Foster self-confidence and resilience.
  • Offer support and encouragement as they explore their future pathways.

By volunteering as a mentor, you will:

  • Make a lasting impact on the lives of young people.
  • Gain personal satisfaction form helping others succeed.
  • Build meaningful connections with other mentors and students.
  • Contribute to your community in a positive way.

The 11-week programme is delivered four times a year. We would love a commitment of at least 3 to 4 hours per term from mentors and are happy to negotiate your availability. If you’re ready to make a difference and become a Volunteer Mentor, we invite you to apply.
