Repair & Share - Repair Cafe Volunteers

Auckland Library of Tools

Auckland Library of Tools is a volunteer run, non profit lending library based in Grey Lynn. We are now hosting WEEKLY Repair Cafe's that help the community to repair broken household items, extending the life of the item, reducing waste, and saving money while sharing skills and strengthening community over a cuppa & baking. We are seeking skilled repairers, as well as friendly greeters and bakers to join us in our mission.

We are seeking skilled volunteers who may be able to help repair; clothing, toys, small electrical items, jewelry, furniture, wooden items, general items and bikes.

We are also needing registered electricians who can sign off on repairs on 240v items.

The Repair Cafe also needs friendly, personable volunteers who are happy to help set up the space, welcome people and help them find the right repairer.

Lastly, we are seeking volunteers who are happy to provide baking to feed our volunteer team.

Our Repair & Share Repair Cafes are on Saturday 11am - 2pm, during the library lending hours.

You'll get to be part of a great team of volunteers, learn new skills, develop your current skills, and hang out in a friendly, welcoming space. Regular volunteers (once a month or more) will get a free membership to Auckland Library of Tools, giving access to over 1000 items!
