For some clients, their treatment might require them to stay away from home at one of our accommodation units, and our hosts are there to make them feel as at comfortable and welcome as possible. There’s a lot of variety in this important role.

• You’ll help keep the place clean and tidy and support the supervisor with a range of housekeeping tasks,

• Service Rooms -Offer a warm welcome, show new guests around the facility,

• Be on hand for a chat if needed,

• guide clients to the right information and support services and help with activities to keep people occupied.

As part of our 3000-strong network of volunteers across the motu, you will be part of an important group helping clients and their supporters experience that home-away-from-home feeling in one of our units.

Hours: This role is managed on a roster and we are currently looking to fill a Tuesday and Wednesday slot
