Our mission is to freely redistribute fresh surplus food from Wellington's eateries directly to those in need of it. Everyone is welcome, and we would love your help.
A much needed role for us is the washing, drying and folding of all the cloths, tea towels and re-useable bags that our teams use each day. This involves collecting dirty tea towels, etc, once a week. These need to be taken home to be washed, dried, folded and then returned to us within a week. Equipment Needed: Access to a washing machine and dryer or well ventilated drying space and willing to use your own laundry powder or liquid. High reliability required for this role, as we'll have nothing to collect food in or dry dishes with otherwise!
