MINDNZ

MINDNZ, Mathematical Inclusion and Diversity in New Zealand, is an organization dedicated to offering high school students opportunities to engage in mathematical activities that promote diversity and inclusion. Our mission is to ignite a passion for mathematics and ensure equal opportunities for all students.

We are looking for:

  • Students that are currently within a New Zealand studying within a high school or teachers within a NZ high school facility
  • Students that are committed and passionate towards education and want to help more students
  • You don't need to have any past experience related to this programme , we will provide you will any guidance you may require.

Role Description:

  • Help us organise and manage events as well as pass on resources to the students at your school
  • If your school has a pre-existing maths club, we may get you to share mathematical content with the club directly
  • Help promote certain MINDNZ events at your school through school notices
  • Help organise any offline MINDNZ exams/ events that may occur at your school

Optional: If your school does not have an existing maths club, we highly encourage you to initiate one or pitch the idea of one to a school teacher.
