Te Rori a Mua Trust was established in 1993 on a rural setting to provide 24/7 residential and day services for adults with intellectual disabilities. The meaning of Te Rori a Mua is ‘The Road Ahead’— reflects our commitment to ensuring people can live rich, purposeful, and self directed lives, supported by high quality services that honour their aspirations, wellbeing, and whānau.
We are seeking to appoint a Board member with strong financial expertise to join our Board. Desired skills and attributes include: • Understanding of governance • Professional experience in finance, accounting, audit, risk, or financial oversight • Ability to provide strategic financial guidance to support long term sustainability • Understanding of and commitment to the Trust’s vision, mission, and kaupapa • Ability to gift approximately 3 hours per month to the role This is an opportunity to contribute your financial expertise to strengthen our future direction.
