Youth Leaders - Waverley & Mosgiel & North Dunedin

As a volunteer, you will:

During the school term our GGNZ leaders:

  • Attend a weekly session (in person) for up to two hours
  • Helping plan the term's activities and deliver them to the girls
  • Complete occasional evening / weekend training as required
  • Attend occasional leader / planning meetings, and trips or camps

In particular we are looking for Leaders for the following Units:

Grants Braes Pippins - Located in Waverley on Mondays 4 - 5.30pm

Grants Brae Brownies - Located in Waverley on Mondays 6 - 7:30pm

Mosgiel Brownies - Located in Mosgiel on Wednesday 6 - 7.30pm

Mosgiel Guides - Located in Mosgiel on Wednesdays 5:30-7.30pm

Mosgiel Rangers - Located in Mosgiel on Wednesdays 5:30-7pm

Ōpoho Brownies - Located in North Dunedin on Mondays 6 -7:30pm

Opoho Guides - Located in North Dunedin on Monday 6.15 - 7.45pm

There is no experience needed, but we do need reliable volunteers and previous experience working with youth is an advantage. GirlGuiding New Zealand 's health and safety policy also has requirements around adult to child ratios, so we do require that you are older than 18.
