Head out with a small team on seek-and-destroy missions to eradicate key weed species at Makara Peak reserve. Maps and coordinates of weed plants are provided. Using these, you'll find a specific plant (e.g. Buddleia or Himalayan honeysuckle) and kill it (by chopping it down and treating the stump with herbicide paste). The goal is to virtually eliminate these relatively rare weeds this spring, before they seed and get well established.
