Are you a Licensed Electrical Worker, eg a Registered Electrician or do you have a minimum qualification as an Electrical Appliance Service person or Electrical Service Technician? Our Electrical volunteers... Assess the fault with electrical items brought in by the public Advise on who is qualified to repair (if repair is possible) Assist with the repair if within their skillset, or refer to a local specialist Advise what broken items can be recycled through e-waste facilities Upper Hutt Repair Cafe is seeking more qualified Electrical repairers to volunteer their skills at our Repair Cafe events. This is a casual role and events are usually Saturdays every 1-2 months in Upper Hutt. In this volunteer role you will have the opportunity to influence positive change in the Upper Hutt community by sharing your repair skills and reducing electrical waste to landfill.
