Bundle Programme Volunteer

Bundle Programme Volunteer
Every bundle tells a story of kindness.
As a Bundle Programme Volunteer, you'll help ensure babies and young children across Canterbury receive the essential items they need to thrive. Behind every carefully packed bundle is a family navigating life's challenges, and your time helps ensure they receive practical support with dignity, care, and absolutely no judgement.
Our community truly is a village. Every week, generous people donate new and pre-loved clothing, equipment, toys and essentials for local families. Before these items can reach a child, they need caring hands to sort, check and prepare them to the high standard our families deserve. Every donation is different, which means no two volunteer shifts are ever quite the same.
What you might be doing Sorting and quality-checking donated clothing, toys and equipment Ensuring donated items are clean, safe and ready for another family Safety checking baby equipment Restocking storage areas and supplies Learning how to create complete baby and toddler bundles (once trained) Who we're looking for
We're looking for volunteers who:
-
Have an eye for detail and take pride in doing things well
-
Enjoy practical, hands-on work
-
Are reliable and happy to work as part of a friendly team
-
Treat every family with kindness, compassion and respect
-
Enjoy welcoming and chatting with members of our community
Whether you're volunteering for a few hours a week or more regularly, every item you sort, every bundle you help create, and every act of care helps ensure another Canterbury family knows they are not facing parenthood alone.
Come and be part of the village that's making a real difference, one bundle, one family, and one child at a time..
