Event Coordinator within the disability community

Enabling Love & Friendship is a not for profit organisation based in Dunedin. Our aim is to integrate disabled people and young professionals when it comes to dating and social situations.
Enabling Love & Friendship's goal is to provide a world class safe dating and social service while giving people fun experiences that will last forever!
Enabling Love & Friendship is currently in a stage of growth and we are looking to expand nationally. We are seeking volunteers to co-coordinate events and gatherings in other regions so we can build our capacity as an organisation and provide nationwide access to our service.
Your Role as a Volunteer Coordinator: • To work alongside the national office (Dunedin) of Enabling Love & Friendship to build a presence within your region • Working together with local disability providers to coordinate events • Assist with marketing/promotion of events • Attend events to ensure they run smoothly • Seek new members through local community networking
Skills you need for this role: • Positive social skills • Effective management skills • Active listening and good communication • Creativity and critical thinking • Well driven & understanding
