Share your career at a school near you

Take your career back to school.
Inspiring the Future connects schools with people from the world of work so students can learn about different jobs. It aims to broaden young people’s horizons and challenge stereotypes.
Volunteering opportunity
Our volunteer role models are invited to Inspiring the Future events hosted by schools. You talk about your job, how you got there and any challenges you’ve faced.
If you enjoy what you do, you’ll be seen as a role model who is helping young people to understand the world of opportunity that awaits them - and you'll have fun doing it!
How it works
After you sign up as a role model on our website, teachers can view your profile and invite you to events – you can accept or decline as you wished based on your availability. In-person events last 2-3 hours, online events last around 1 hour.
An event starts with a 20 questions game where students are guessing what jobs you and the other role models do. You then reveal your job, and rotate around groups of students, answering their questions.
