You will be answering member enquiries, processing loans, cataloging items, and checking over our equipment upon return. Training on our lending system is provided, while you don't need to be a professional DIYer, some basic tool knowledge is an advantage.

Volunteer perks include a free membership to the tool library, with access to over 1500 tools and equipment, free loans on all items and out of hours access to the library.

We are currently seeking volunteers who can regularly commit to volunteering every 2 - 3 weeks, in particular on Saturdays as this is our busy day. We host a weekly Repair Cafe on Saturdays, so there is lots happening in the space, as well as hot coffee and snacks.

We also have monthly working bees on Sundays where the team get together to tackle big projects, tool maintenance and strategize.

ALoT is located on Newton Rd, and shares a building with makerspace, Hackland.
