Swimming Group Volunteer

We're looking for a male volunteer for Dementia Canterbury's Swimming group at QE 11 on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 10.30am-12pm. Your role would involve supporting clients in the changing room if needed, swimming alongside clients (or sitting in the hot tub with those who don't want to swim!), making sure they are safe in the water, and helping the staff member to pass around morning tea afterwards. We're looking for a volunteer who is friendly, practical, comfortable in the water, and reliable. Ability to also transport 1-2 clients to and from the group is preferred. Training is provided.
