Oxfam New Zealand is an International non-governmental organisation (INGO) that helps the most vulnerable in three ways: in disasters or conflict, we act to save lives and help communities recover; we work with local partners to give the most vulnerable a voice and help them to access services and resources that will take them out of poverty. We also seek to influence decision makers, to achieve changes to policies and structures that keep people in poverty.
