The Hawke's Bay Knowledge Bank has assembled a massive amount of local information and is making it available in digital format for generations to come. We are making many thousands of images and oral histories (the personal recollections of the region's people) available in homes, to schools, researchers, historians and all comers. It is a community service. We have already amassed a huge collection of Hawke's Bay history, which otherwise would not be stored and preserved on this scale anywhere. We survive on cash donations; our doors are open to all.
