Harbour Hospice is a local charity providing compassionate, specialist care to people who are dying, while supporting their families and caregivers. Anyone living with a life-limiting condition such as cancer, heart failure, motor-neurone disease or multiple sclerosis (MS) may benefit from Hospice care. Our nurses, doctors and family support team work alongside GPs, hospital teams, district nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide patients with specialist health and social care, either in their own home or in one of our inpatient units. Hospice services are provided free of charge to patients and their families. Volunteers can help us through fundraising, working in our Hospice Shops or assisting in a variety of roles with our patients.
