Neighbourhood Support Rotorua

Neighbourhood Support Rotorua is a volunteer-led community organisation that helps connect neighbours, strengthen local networks, and support safer, more resilient communities across Rotorua. We work alongside Street Contacts, residents, Police, Rotorua Lakes Council, emergency management, and other community partners to share safety information, encourage preparedness, and help neighbourhoods look out for one another. Our work includes supporting local Street Contacts, sharing crime prevention and emergency preparedness updates, helping communities build stronger neighbourhood connections, and promoting practical ways residents can support each other — especially during emergencies, times of isolation, or when people need a little extra help. At the heart of Neighbourhood Support Rotorua is a simple belief: connected communities are safer, stronger, and kinder communities.
