Hibiscus Coast Softball Club (HBC) is a community softball club based on Auckland's Hibiscus Coast. Established in 1995, we provide opportunities for players of all ages and abilities to participate in softball in a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment.
Our club serves one of New Zealand's fastest-growing regions, drawing members from Orewa, Silverdale, Whangaparāoa, Milldale, North Harbour, and wider Auckland. We offer junior and senior playing opportunities, coaching and umpiring development, and pathways to representative and national softball programmes.
HBC is proud of its strong community culture, where many families have multiple generations involved in the sport. We believe softball should be accessible and affordable for everyone, and we continually invest in facilities, coaching, and player development to support that goal.
Volunteers are the heart of our club. Whether helping with administration, events, fundraising, coaching, scoring, or governance, our volunteers play a vital role in creating a positive sporting experience for hundreds of players and families each season.
