Te Whare Miharo Ora Trust
supported by Volunteer Nelson
Mīharo Ora is a registered New Zealand charitable trust based in Motueka, Tasman — and we’re on a mission to change the lives of Autistic, High Needs and Sensory Disability children and their whānau right here in Aotearoa. We are opening a specialised After-School Care and Holiday Programme at 222 High Street, Motueka — a safe, inclusive and nurturing space designed specifically for tamariki aged 5–13 who need more than what mainstream care can offer. Alongside this, we run a free Community Family Support Centre, walking alongside whānau through diagnosis, connecting them to services, and making sure no family ever has to navigate this journey alone. We believe every child deserves to be seen, celebrated and supported exactly as they are. Our centre is built on the values of aroha, manaakitanga and inclusion — and everything we do is shaped by the tamariki and whānau at our heart.
