New Zealand Young Physicists' Trust

The Trust enriches high-school physics through extra-curricular clubs and research-based competitions because it is a vital gateway to STEM tertiary study and careers. NZ Inc. needs more high school physicists! Our flagship programme is the International Young Physicists' Tournament, IYPT, which is the foundation for our annual team competition for schools. We also select, train and take a NZ representative team to the IYPT every year travel allows. In 2026 we're off the Zurich. In 2027 we are hosting IYPT in Auckland - nearly 250 people from 36 countries.
