Trap Library East Auckland (TLEA) is a community group founded by Rotary and Lions clubs in 2018, and with funding assistance from Howick Local Board. We have two major streams of work.
We loan out possum traps to households and community groups for trapping on private properties and local reserves.
We manage a stoat / ferret trapping network - currently around 80 traps - with a team of volunteers who service DOC200 & DOC250 traps in strategic locations in and around the Howick Ward area.
