About Cornwall Park
A unique taonga in Tāmaki Makaurau, Cornwall Park was gifted to the people of NZ Aotearoa by Sir John Logan Campbell in 1901. It is one of a handful of city parks around the world that provides a commercial working farm experience. Each year around 2 million visitors enjoy its award winning gardens and landscapes.
It is the green lungs of the city and becoming increasingly important to the city’s citizens as pressure for land increases. Cornwall Park is not part of Auckland Council and runs at no cost to tax or ratepayers.
