Kōwhai Ora - Grounded Growth

Kōwhai Ora – Grounded Growth is a registered charitable trust based in Auckland. We provide trauma-informed, peer-led support for wāhine, rangatahi, and whānau impacted by family violence and adversity. Our kaupapa is grounded in lived experience – we believe healing happens best in safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive spaces where people can connect, share, and grow together. We run peer support groups, wellbeing workshops, and community initiatives that focus on building resilience, reducing isolation, and strengthening mental, emotional, and social wellbeing. Kōwhai Ora works alongside local services to create clear referral pathways and ensure that our community has accessible, practical, and compassionate support. With strong governance, supervision, and a peer-led model, we are committed to empowering communities and creating long-term positive change.
