Sri Lanka Association of New Zealand: Culture is the anchor that helps establish our identity. It is also the heritage we tend to lose when migrating to another country. In June 2004, The Sri Lanka Association of New Zealand (SLANZ) was established by a group of concerned Sri Lankans, to help fill this gap in New Zealand. The Sri Lanka Association of New Zealand “SLANZ” Incorporated was established in 2004 by the Sri Lankan community in Wellington.
