About Inner City Women’s Group Our Purpose: Empowering all women to live free from family violence. For nearly 30 years, Inner City Women’s Group has been a leader in supporting women, particularly those impacted by family violence. As an independent Charitable Trust, we specialize in: Addressing women’s anger. Supporting survivors of family violence. Providing skills and strategies in assertiveness, communication, and confidence-building. Offering parenting support for women affected by family violence. Delivering support services for women offenders. Our services are approved by the Ministry of Social Development, Ministry of Justice, and Department of Corrections. We are proud members of Te Kupenga Whakaoti Mahi Patunga (National Network Stopping Violence Services), Saftinet, The Auckland Coalition for the Safety of Women & Children, Employers and Manufacturers Association (EMA), and Social Development Partners. Additionally, we collaborate closely with local community agencies and organizations to maximize our impact.
