Perinatal Support Nelson

Perinatal Support Nelson has been supporting women and their whānau/ families in our community for 35 years who are experiencing perinatal depression and/or anxiety. We currently provide a variety of FREE services that we tailor to each women’s needs and can progress as they walk their journey to mental health wellness. These include in home support counselling sessions therapeutic groups We provide support and counselling to mothers during their pregnancy and after they have had their baby (perinatal period). and is doing a great job of capturing the majority of women with PND/A in our region. The geographical areas we cover are Nelson, Richmond, Mapua, Motueka, Wakefield and Tapawera. Over the phone we have supported mothers in Blenheim, Collingwood and Murchison.
