Life Linc Charitable Trust, trading as Life Linc Counselling provides the Nelson/Tasman communities with low-cost, affordable, professional counselling service for individuals, couples & families in need. Originally Lifeline Nelson we have been supporting our community for over 50 years. We have a mix of in training and qualified volunteer counsellors supporting our clients. At Life Linc, our vision is to create positive, long-lasting change in the Nelson Tasman community by enabling individuals, couples, and families to experience greater ease, joy, and connection in their lives and relationships. Through our affordable and professional counselling services, we aim to foster mental health, emotional well-being, and stronger relationships—strengthening both individuals and the wider community. These outcomes are guided by the principles of Rangatiratanga (self-determination), Manaakitanga (care and support), and Kotahitanga (unity and connection). The average cost of private counselling ranges from $90 to $150 per session—an amount that is simply out of reach for many in our community. Our service bridges this gap, providing up to 10 sessions per client for individuals and couples aged 16 and above, embracing all ethnicities. By empowering people through accessible, high-quality counselling, we contribute to the overall well-being and resilience of our community.
