Radio Te Aroha 88FM is Te Aroha's community radio station and is owned and operated by the Te Aroha Dramatic Society Inc. We broadcast a wide range of music and community organisation promos, events and tourism information. We're seeking volunteers of all ages/sexes to do voice-overs for the ads we create and air for our local community groups, charities, clubs, schools and businesses. All you need is a smartphone with email connectivity. It works by us emailing you a script, you recording it on your phone using free software that we can advise you about and emailing the file to us for editing and airing. While we prefer locals to do this, we're also keen to hear from people anywhere in New Zealand who are keen to hear themselves on the radio and help our local community groups and charities do what they do. This is also a great opportunity for you to add your radio station volunteering experience to your CV, particularly if you were applying for paid employment in the media.
