Similar to a book library, we are a not for profit community organisation that provides our community with affordable access to a huge range of toys, catering for each developmental stage of early childhood. The Library was founded in 1997 and has a proud history of providing thousands of toys for the young children of our community for all those years. Our library model encourages families to embrace sustainability and relieves them of the financial burden of purchasing expensive toys that may only be used for a brief period of time. We also provide a place where families come together and volunteer together to give back to their community. We employ 2 part-time Librarians who operate the Library during opening hours, but the Committee is run by parent volunteers. We take care of all of the background operations of the Library, and our positions include a Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Grants Officer, Social Media Officers, Members Officer and Toy Officer.
