Plane Sense Wellington Incorporated

Plane Sense Wellington Inc. is a local, not-for-profit, community group. We represent residents suffering the effects of a flight path change in the northern suburbs of Wellington, NZ. These effects include public health concerns for vulnerable members of our community, including children, the elderly and those with physical and mental health issues. On 14 April 2024, residents voted to hold the organisations involved to account - Wellington Airport, Airways NZ and the Civil Aviation Authority of NZ. The 1 December 2022 flight path change was implemented with no consultation or consideration for the local community or environment. The community voted in favour of issuing court proceedings and commencing a High Court Judicial Review, for which we are currently fundraising.
