Coastguard New Zealand
Coastguard New Zealand is the charity saving lives at sea. Coastguard is made up of two areas: Employees: Our National office incorporates our employees who maintain the standards and procedures for marine search and rescue in NZ. We provide operational, funding, H&S, wellbeing, marketing and finance to the organisation. We are the supporters and equippers of our volunteers. Volunteers: Coastguard volunteers spend hundreds of thousands of hours on search and rescue mission, radio operations, training or maintenance work each year. They are a vital part to keep New Zealanders safe while they’re out on the water.
