Hastings Community patrol is part of a national organisation (Community Patrols New Zealand) that assist our local police in keeping our communities safe. We act as extra 'eyes and ears' for the police. We carry out foot and mobile patrols of our local neighbourhood, passing on information to the police that may be of interest to them. We have our own livered patrol vehicle that you will probably see at sometime driving around Hastings. We are a fully trained group of enthusiastic, community members wishing to put something back into our community and assist our police.
