Friends of the Blade is an all-volunteer predator control group, operating under the aegis of Whakamārama Community Inc., and dedicated to improving the quality of the bush at the head of the Whakamarama Road, in the Western Bay of Plenty. With our work, we aim to protect and improve bird life and regenerating native bush in the area by controlling exotic pests in a 250 Ha zone.
