Whenua Iti Charitable Trust was established in 1986 with the purpose of enabling positive change in individuals and communities through experiential outdoor learning. Operating as Whenua Iti Outdoors in the Lower Moutere, Te Tau Ihu, the organisation has developed into a nationally leading provider of experiential learning. Whenua Iti has a staff of 40 and strong positive connections with stakeholder communities throughout Te Tau Ihu and Te Tai Poutini.
