Midlands Sexual Assault Support Service provide support, counselling and advice to anyone who experiences sexual harm and their whaanau in Hamilton City, Matamata - Piako areas. We provide the following: • A 24/7 Crisis Response Service • Social Work, Counselling and Advocacy for those affected by sexual harm • Education within the community around sexual violence • Working within schools delivering prevention and consent education to young people and information on what to do if you experience sexual harm • Court Support Midlands Sexual Assault Support Services Charitable Trust began in 2019, following the dissolution of the collective-run Rape and Sexual Abuse Healing Centre Inc which operated since the early 1980s. We operate as a charitable trust with a governance board.
