Taranaki TimeBank is a community network where individual members and community groups come together to exchange skills, time, resources and knowledge, which helps foster relationships of trust and generosity. To embrace the true wealth of a community is to value each individual. Everyone has something of value to share and some forms of work are more valuable than the cost associated with them; like building strong families and safe neighbourhoods. Our primary task is "putting the unity back into community', as we exchange our skills for time rather than financial compensation, and in doing so we help to re-establish circular economies where all people are valued.
