ReliefAid is a Kiwi humanitarian organisation with a background of distributing life sustaining materials to children in refugee camps in Northern Syria. Life is grim and children are struggling to build essential skills for long term well-being. BounceBack4Syria is an educational intervention of ReliefAid. ReliefAid believes in the importance of building resilience as an essential element of education for children in refugee camps in Syria. We know that playing and games are a primary behaviour for building resilience and provide the opportunities children need for social interaction and promoting physical and emotional flexibility. BounceBack4Syria provides materials to children in camps and build the muscle of resilience, materials as familiar to us as skipping ropes, frisbees, paints, and balls, materials that support art, drama, music, and sport.
