Māia Health Foundation is the official charity of the Canterbury District Health Board in New Zealand. Since its inception in 2016, Māia has raised more than $11 million which has enabled major improvements to Canterbury’s health services including the upgrading of the helipad at Waipapa Christchurch Hospital, improved child health facilities, and a $2 million upgrade to the Burwood Spinal Unit. Its vision is to enhance health services in Canterbury, taking our health system from good to great.
