At Meat the Need, we are on a mission to ensure no one in New Zealand goes hungry. We do this by taking generous livestock donations from farmers and turning this into mince meat, which is then donated to food banks across New Zealand. Since launching during our first 2020 lockdown, we have provided 667,000 meals of mince to families in need. As well as this, we have kick-started Feed Out, where donated milk is sent to food banks across Waikato and the Central Plateau! Feed Out has seen 92,000 milk meals donated so far and we will soon be taking this to a national scale.
