We are a network of volunteers and community groups located in the Upper Waitematā in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland. Our various community groups are located in Albany, Greenhithe, Paremoremo, Hobsonville, Coatesville, Whenuapai, Unsworth Heights, Kumeu, West Harbour,... They are focusing their efforts on environmental restoration. which include: planting native trees, protecting native plants and trees, monitoring the water quality of the waterways (we train you for it), the history of our place, monitoring our manu/birds through bird counts (there are workshops to help you with that too), doing clean ups, collecting a wide variety and diversity of native seeds, grow native plants and seeds in backyard nurseries (it can be anywhere, in your backyard, driveway, garden,..) and much more!
