The Auckland based Westpac Rescue Helicopter is staffed full-time by a highly experienced crew consisting of pilots, Intensive Care Paramedics and emergency doctors. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, flying over 1000 rescue missions per year. We rely on community funding to cover the approximate $5000 cost of every mission and our volunteers are key to us achieving this fundraising goal.
