If you have three hours a week to volunteer for your community then Citizen’s Advice Bureau (CAB) Porirua would love, you to get in touch. We work with clients by listening carefully to their stories and researching their rights and responsibilities and the services available to them. We explain the information so that our clients understand their options and make their own decisions. This is a stimulating, interesting and rewarding role that meets a genuine need in our Porirua community. We offer a volunteer induction period, and ongoing monthly training sessions to keep your skills and knowledge up to date. We are a professional office and offer a safe and comfortable space for our volunteers and clients. There is flexibility in the role, for holidays and if you are unwell.
