We know that most people coming to SEEK volunteer are looking to volunteer in the next three months. So, we have introduced a handy feature to help you easily identify the roles that are happening soon.

Once an organisation enters the exact date of a volunteering event, we are now highlighting when the event is taking place.

Keep your eyes out for the following signals.

Free this week?

Our green signal ‘Within 7 days’, means this event is happening really soon. If they are still advertising this role so close to the event, they could really do with more helping hands. Why wait? Apply now and volunteer straight away.

Got some time this month?

Our blue signal ‘Within 4 weeks’ gives you a little more time to plan. Find an event on a day and a time that suits you. You probably have enough time to recruit a friend to volunteer with you too.

Not available yet, but know you have free time coming up?

Sounds like you are good at planning ahead. Keep your eyes out for the pink signal that says ‘Over 4 weeks away’. These are great volunteer roles for you.
