Hospice Whanganui
We’ve got 6 cars our staff use to visit patients and families in their homes and we would love a couple of people who can give them a good clean every few weeks. Volunteers are essential partners for our nurses and doctors to get out into the community, visiting patients who want to stay at home with their families.

Hospice Whanganui is only partially funded by government, over 20% of our funding comes from the income we raise through our retail shops, our retail volunteers are all contributing to providing palliative care to the wider Whanganui community.
