About this opportunity

Vinnies Book (& Fabric) Fairs are held twice a year to raise funds for the welfare services provided to the community by St Vincent de Paul Society. These include a food bank, full-time social worker, pregnancy assistance, employment for people with intellectual disabilities, a sustainable sewing studio, meaningful activities for isolated and vulnerable people, as well as providing work experience opportunities for the community.

Join the team as a Day Crew volunteer and participate in tasks such as:
- Sorting books into correct categories.
- Tidying up and displaying books correctly.
- Removing damaged books.
- Helping customers
- Supporting the Vinnie Re Sew fabric room.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Time Required

2 hours minimum: Sat 27 April: 8am - 4pm Sun 28 April: 9am - 5pm
