About this opportunity
We are seeking a community inspired volunteer to be the Treasurer of our non-profit chapter of Neighbourhood Support.
Neighbourhood Support North Shore encourages neighbours to get to know one another, share information that will help reduce the risk and fear of crime, nurture a sense of community spirit, prepare for civil emergencies, support one another, and live in a caring and safe environment.
The Treasurer manages the banking, budget, financial statements and reports for the small organisation. The successful candidate would be part of a committee that is community-minded and meets 6 times a year in Browns Bay.
We are partnered with the Police and require a background check as part of the vetting process.
This is a long term position we are looking to fill, and it will look great on a c.v.
If you are a community service minded person, can handle these responsibilities and would like to get involved, we'd love to hear from you.
